This tale is true, and mine.  It tells

How it took me, swept me back

And forth in sorrow and fear and pain.

It burst my heart what was done

Swirling in a black abyss of despair.

No one to help me but my angel gone

Up in the field of Heaven's angels may she play.

Forever it has been and forever it will be before

I see my angel gone again with me.

A long life lived much love won much pain shared

Many a road traveled now alone,

Gates of the mind rush open at sounds of

The name of my angel gone.

I flow through the waters of hope find it true

Nothing may bring me my angel gone

To soothe and comfort and hold so tight

Take pain away and return with might.
